The Friends of the Easton Farmers' Market are a group of wonderful volunteers dedicated to growing and promoting the Easton Farmers' Market. You'll see these guys and gals at the market each week… helping vendors set-up and take down, selling Easton Farmers Market tees and totes, assisting with special events, taking surveys, handing out balloons and making everyone feel welcome!
   
The Friends 2nd Annual Used Cookbook and Garden Book Sale
Saturday Oct. 4th 9am – 5pm (during Garlic Fest)

Donate your “gently used” Cookbooks and Gardening Books for this great Fundraiser!

Books can be dropped off at the Friends Tent on any Saturday throughout the Summer.

*All Proceeds go toward Easton Farmers' Market Special Events and Promotion.

Easton Farmers' Market Volunteer Job Descriptions

Friends Market Information Booth Volunteers
Every Saturday (2-3 people 8:00-1:30) days are pre-selected by the volunteer
Information Booth Volunteers will be responsible for setting up the information booth, arranging promotional materials for the Market, speaking about and answering questions about the market, and selling promotional merchandise (market t-shirts, etc.)

Special Event Helpers (5-10 people) average one event Saturday per month
Help the manager to organize and execute activities prior and/or during our special events:

Farmers' Market Information Correspondent (1-2 people)
Are you interested in farmers' markets, but want to work behind the scenes? We need you to help us send out information about the Easton Farmers' Market via phone, fax, and e-mail. Administrative duties include producing information kits, sending out vendor notices, donor mail outs and filing. You should have good communication, computer or organization skills. 2 hrs per week.
