2008 Apple Dessert Contest

• Open to all non-professional bakers.
• Apples must be the predominant ingredient and contestants must provide the
  dessert in full. (i.e. a full pan of apple crisp).
  Last year's entries included apple crisps, apple brown betty, apple cakes,
  apple bread pudding etc. Any apple dessert qualifies except for Apple Pie.
  (We save that for the Harvest Pie contest at Scarecrow Fest on October
  25th).
• All desserts must be delivered to the square by 11:00 am.
• If dessert is presented in a dish you would like returned, please label it
  and plan to pick it up by close of market at 1pm.
• A people's choice prize and a chef's choice prize will be awarded.
• Winning desserts will be chosen based on taste and quality and for best
  use of apples.
